Autumn bridal

20th October

A creative and inspiring day celebrating the rich colours, beautiful textures and abundance of autumn, with the opportunity to learn new techniques and develop your bridal bouquet skills.

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.

-albert Camus

Autumn has a beauty all of its own.

Flowers mingle with berries, seed heads, grasses and changing foliage, offering a wonderful variety of colour, movement and texture to work with.

Join me for a creative day exploring the autumn season and the skill of designing beautiful bridal bouquets.

Perfect for both new and experienced florists, this workshop will help you make the most of the season’s varied materials and develop bouquets that feel natural, romantic and full of movement.

what to expect

During the day, we’ll look at the flowers, foliage and textural ingredients that work particularly well in autumn bridal bouquets. We’ll explore how to bring together colour, shape and texture, how to choose and condition your materials, and how to create designs that feel abundant while remaining comfortable and beautifully balanced to carry.

You’ll create two designs during the workshop. We’ll begin with a natural, freeform bridal bouquet, combining flowers with the rich textures and movement of the season. We’ll then move on to a cascading bouquet, exploring how to achieve a flowing, romantic shape while keeping the design light, balanced and elegant.

This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of autumn and discover how its flowers, grasses, berries, seed heads and foliage can be used to create beautiful bridal bouquets.
